about

Myk Derill is back on Knotweed for the fifth time with his immediately recognisable style of techno: bare to the bone, minimal, repetitive and ultra percussive, yet most important of all, super groovy. Touches of acid in ‘Four’, slowly evolving mental groove in ‘Comparison’, ethereal voices in ‘Reach Me’, and finally heavily distorted stabs in ‘Inattendu’: this E.P. Can be used in all sorts of techno circumstances.

Len Faki: ‘Inattendu’ is dope!
Jeroen Search: great!
Insolate: great release
Ben Gibson: ‘Comparison’ is absolutely sick!
Slam: we love Myk’s stuff
Abstract Division: very nice
